The new generation of Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions has an impact on the processes and activities carried out by human resources (HHRR) departments.
Right now there is a lot of uncertainty about how to use these tools, what risks they have, what things we can receive from other people who do use them, etc.
There are many solutions using AI as technological advantage, but there’s a difference. These new new generation of solutions are used directly from any workstation (ChatGPT, Google Bard, MS Office Co-pilot…).
But where do I start?
This workshop tries to put these new technologies in context in the work carried out in the Human Resources department.
We will work on specific aspects that we can use as a starting point. From there learn and make decisions to adopt these technologies effectively and efficiently, knowing that there are learning curves that we have to overcome.
Who can participate?
Anyone who works in an HR department and is curious how these AI solutions can help them.
Although this page is open to the public (to the immensity of the internet), it is actually invisible and if you have reached it it is because Joaquín invited you or someone who knows Joaquín invited you.
What will we do?
- We will start by giving context (this will be done by Joaquín),
- we will try to define the problem we are trying to solve: How can we use AI to improve the value and productivity of what we do in HR?
- then we will define together a generic user, the user’s needs and a value chain using a Wardley Map (it is not necessary to know what a Wardley Map is).
- We will build a value chain and points of interest.
- Joaquín has already worked with several solutions of these technologies and will give concrete examples developed by him.
- We will try to define a list of strategic value (offensive) and protective (defensive) actions.
How?
Writing to the person who organizes it ( Joaquín ) at joaquin@mapasllc.com (or however you usually contact him).
It is a remote workshop, via Cloud Presenter with a Miro board where we will all interact on the same screen.
When?
There will be an initial session on July 6th from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm (ET), but if the date does not suit you, write me because there will be another one in September.
What do I take with me at the end of the workshop?
You can take some interesting things with you like:
- Learning how these technologies impact the work of human resources.
- A different way to talk to people from different departments (whom speak different languages).
- A different way of working in presence of uncertainty.
- A great list of questions that you can discuss internally with your colleagues in IT, procurement, marketing, sales, etc.
I have questions for you!
- I have no idea about Wardley’s Maps: it’s okay, you don’t need to have knowledge, just be curious and learn as you go.
- I don’t use ChatGPT or Bard, can I participate? Yes, because even if you don’t use them, other people do and you are need to be aware.
- The workshop is limited to 5 people (this makes it more interactive and participatory).
- How much does it cost? It costs your time, my time and the value is the learning we take with us after the session.
- I have more questions: write to me at joaquin@mapasllc.com.
